SERVICES
Primary Home Inspections
Primary home inspections covers everything from residential homes (single and multi-family, condos, townhomes) new construction inspections, pre-listing (seller) inspections, to 11 month after purchase date warranty inspections.
Radon Testing
Radon is the number one cause of lung cancer among people who do not smoke. Test for radon in places where people spend a lot of time: homes, childcare centers, schools, and workplaces. You can’t see or smell radon, so testing is the only way to know if you are being exposed to high levels.
Water Testing (Basic & Full)
Water testing service analyzes water samples to determine the concentration of various substances in the water. This analysis is important for ensuring that the water is safe to drink and free from a wide range of contaminants, including bacteria, viruses, chemicals, metals, and other substances. DNR recommends private well owners perform basic testing routinely for Bacteria, Nitrate and Arsenic.
Septic Systems
Evaluate, monitor, and maintain private onsite wastewater treatment systems (POWTS). I ensure systems operate properly, prevent failures, and comply with county, state, and manufacturer requirements, often inspecting components every 1–3 years as a licensed POWTS Maintainer.
Short Notice Services
I understand quick decisions leaves little time to complete your due diligence tasks. That's why I provide flexible and prompt business services to support my clients.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why get a home inspection?
A home inspection before buying is crucial to uncover hidden structural, electrical, plumbing, or safety issues, saving you from thousands in unexpected repairs. It provides leverage for negotiating repairs or price reductions with the seller and allows you to walk away from a dangerous or costly investment.
How long does the process take?
A single family home inspection can take a couple hours to several hours depending on the size of the property and what services you are requesting. Once the data is collected, you will be provide a detailed report listing my findings within 24 hours.
Why get your water tested?
Water testing identifies a wide range of contaminants, including bacteria, viruses, chemicals, metals, and other substances that may be harmful to human health and your pets. Testing drinking water is done to investigate any issues with water quality or to assure that water sample sources can be utilized safely for domestic, recreational, or other purposes. Many substances in water have not been sufficiently studied to set a legal standard yet. Laboratory water tests are designed to detect as many substances in your water as possible, including many unregulated compounds.
Wisconsin law requires regular maintenance and inspection of Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (POWTS), typically every three years, to ensure proper operation. A Wisconsin POWTS Maintainer is a state-certified professional authorized under Wis. Admin. Code § SPS 305.36 to evaluate, monitor, and maintain private onsite wastewater treatment systems (septic systems). They ensure systems operate properly, prevent failures, and comply with county, state, and manufacturer requirements, often inspecting components every 1–3 years.
Why get your septic system evaluated?
Why get a radon test?
About 1 out of 10 homes in Wisconsin has high radon levels. According to EPA, Wisconsin has areas with HIGH and MODERATE potentials for elevated indoor radon levels. However, the EPA also says every home, regardless of location, should be tested for radon since elevated levels have been found in all areas. You can't see or smell radon, so testing is the only way to know if you are being exposed to high levels. Radon is a radioactive gas that comes from the natural breakdown of uranium in the ground. It is a natural part of the air we breathe and is the largest source of an average person's exposure to background radiation. While we are always exposed to very low levels of radon, breathing in high levels of radon can cause lung cancer. This typically happens when radon enters through a building's foundation and builds up to high levels in the indoor air. Exposure to high levels of radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer, after cigarette smoke.
